At this time of the year, many people, myself included, are excitedly busy: they’re buying presents or having a great time with friends and loved ones. It’s Christmas, and holiday spirits are all around.
On the other end of the spectrum, millions of people do without shelter, food, freedom, healthcare and education. They aren’t thinking about their 2018 New Year’s resolutions, because they can’t fathom anything in their lives time beyond surviving. Being at the top of the pyramid of human existence might seem an impossible dream — to have desires beyond their own realm feels like forbidden fruit. The potential to help them lies in the actions we can take every day of our lives.

Over the years, I’ve been taking tiny steps toward one of my own dreams, even though I came from a world where young girls and women were treated like they don’t matter and are nothing. I’ve been blessed with a book contract, which I signed in 2017.

I’m thrilled to announce my first book, to be released in the spring of 2018!

In my upcoming memoir, I’ve written about my own pains, my own fears, my own anger and frustrations existing in this world. A world in which it sometimes feels like we’re put here just to suffer. Then we see a light at the end of the tunnel of countless possibilities in a world that otherwise has no coherence or explanation for success other than being at the right time, in the right moment, with the right people. Mostly, greeting such opportunities with the right preparedness, which Oprah Winfrey defines as “luck.”

It took me guts and it took me courage to write this memoir and, most importantly, to stop worrying about what other people think of me and finally come out of the tunnel. Funnily enough, I was holding the torch all along. I forgot that all I needed was to turn it on. I’m my own light and my own resonance, and my own fan!

I hope you’ll be a loyal and enthusiastic fan of mine in my beautiful journey as a brand-new author. Please waste no time pursuing your own dream, because it’s within you. All you have to do is to BELIEVE AND BE TRUE TO YOURSELF! No one can make it if one’s life is a fraud.
